Formats First Helicopter Hangar

Format Steel Buildings have just completed their first steel framed helicopter hangar.
This tall, fully insulated steel framed building was specially designed to accommodate our customers helicopter in a temperature controlled environment.
With insulated steel cladding mounted in CE marked steel building components together with powered roller shutter doors the building was installed and erected on a reinforced concrete base slab which extended externally to form the landing pad.
This top quality steel framed building was finished internally to an excellent high standard, whilst maintaining an external fit into the rural landscape by using suitable colours to the external steel skin.
Our customer subsequently installed an automated jacking trolley system which allowed his helicopter to be safely "garaged" inside his insulated steel framed building / hangar.
